Boston has many different neighborhoods and it is easy to get a little confused as often their names do not align with their geographical placement.

Logan Airport is located within East Boston, so this is generally the first area visitors come into.

The North End is our Little Italy and South End also nicknamed Southie has a lot of Irish Influence. Fenway and Kenmore Square are the stomping grounds of Red Sox Fans and Boston University students. 

While not on this map, I do think that it is important to mention that Somerville and Cambridge, while their own cities, are popularly lumped in when visiting Boston. Cambridge is the home of Harvard University, and MIT. Somerville is the home of Tuft University. 

The Subway: Nicknamed the T, Boston's subway has many different color lines that run throughout the city. You can buy a single ride, 1-day or 7-day pass called a Charlie Card from the ticket booths right inside the station. Not sure where to go? Uber/Lyft: Just like any other metropolitan city Boston has many Ubers and lyfts available. 

Bikes: Boston has many bike share companies around the main two being Blue Bikes and Green Bikes. Download the app, and scan the bar code and you will be on your way. 

There is so much to see and do in Boston between the museums, the events and the extensive list of historical sights.  Spend the day exploring the freedom trial and reliving the Revolutionary War.  Catch a game at Fenway one of the oldest ballparks in the country. Spend endless amount of hours wondering around the MFA or Museum of Science.
